Training
Tricia Concannon has been riding for over
thirty years, developing a well rounded approach to training hunter and
jumpers. Tricia started out in the hunter and equitation rings as a
junior, moved over to eventing at the novice, training and
preliminary levels for seven years and was a member of the USPC,
graduating with a B rating. She trained with many notable people in each
discipline, too numerous to mention.
After earning a BS degree in Accounting,
Tricia became a professional horsewoman while a professor of Equine
Studies at Mount Ida College. As a pro Tricia has trained and shown
horses from the specials to the green working hunters and level 6
jumpers. She has shown in Wellington, Ocala, Vermont, Saratoga, Culpeper
and many New England A, B and C rated shows.
Tricia has coached a variety of riders from the novice adult hunters to
the Medal/Maclay. She currently focuses mainly on training horses and
riders showing in hunters and equitation at 3' and 3'6".
